The Raw Story is reporting that Miller's article was co-written by a lawyer. No link as yet.
This is an interesting new wrinkle, and it further fuels the questions about the Times' honesty in its lengthy limited "hang-out." It certainly raises additional interesting questions about Miller. Time will tell whether the lawyer involved was working for Miller (Bennett), the newspaper, or some combination of the two.
It also suggests that Miller remains concerned about potential legal jeopardy, or that she had a very specific deal with Fitzgerald about what she could and could not disclose. My own hunch is that Miller cut a deal -- either for immunity or a plea -- in her Tuesday meeting with Fitzgerald and that the many holes in her account are a consequence of her agreement to keep certain elements of the story secret for the moment. Anyway, this is a story to watch, and speculation about its implications is welcome.
Update: Not quite ghosted, but vetted. Here's the link
